I copied over reflections from my previous site, Jenny Jackson's Active Reflections, as an initial reference point. I wish to thank the students, staff, parents and Board of Trustees from St Joseph's Catholic School (NE -Year 8), Oamaru, New Zealand for allowing me to continue to share valuable reflections and experiences of my time there (2006 - 20016)
I proudly share the rich stories around visioning, values, teamwork, growth and reflections on change as principal of St Patrick's School (F - Year 6) Murrumbeena in Melbourne and thank the vibrant school community for allowing me to record our journey (2006 -2022). In particular I thanks Kate, a St Patrick's school parent for her contribution to Restorative Practices - "Open our minds and hearts..." one parent's reflection Link 17/08/17 and Brooke, another parent, who bravely shared the way she managed home learning with her daughters during the challenging pandemic - Home Learning; One parent shares their story Link 13/04/20. A huge thank you to the St Pat's staff who presented the achievements from their work as collaborative teams. I am so proud of the way our teachers demonstrated the way they have grown in confidence and in capabilities, each of them destined to be great leaders of the future - Schools that deliver 4 years on ; a day to share and celebrate progress and successes.
In my new leadership role with MACS ( July 2022), I aim and hope to encourage further contributions from colleagues and leadership teams from the schools that I work with as we all continue to collaborate, connect, lead, learn, grow and change 2 flourish.
